Visit to the Europe Point: New Collaboration with Gordius Learning
The team from Gordius Learning recently visited the Europe Point in Budapest to explore potential collaboration opportunities with the institution. During the visit, they gained insights into the activities of Europe Point, participated in a mini workshop on the institutions and roles of the European Union, and discussed the content of an Erasmus+ compatible course aimed at deepening EU knowledge for teachers and staff.

Europe Point is the official information and documentation center of the European Union in Hungary. Its main goal is to inform Hungarian citizens about EU-related issues and to promote active EU citizenship. Europe Point organizes various activities, including exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and cultural programs. Additionally, Europe Point features a library, an information point, and an audiovisual room where visitors can find a wide range of information related to the EU.
The Gordius Learning team left Europe Point impressed. During the visit, they gained valuable insights into the functioning of the EU and learned about Europe Point's role in informing and engaging Hungarian citizens. In the mini workshop, Gordius Learning staff had the opportunity to learn interactively about the EU institutions and their tasks, and to expand their knowledge of EU policies.
As a result of the visit, Gordius Learning and Europe Point agreed to collaborate. The two organizations will jointly organize programs aimed at increasing awareness about the EU and promoting active EU citizenship. These programs may include workshops, seminars, conferences, and online events.
For Gordius Learning, the collaboration with Europe Point offers an opportunity to enhance its EU knowledge-deepening course for teachers and staff. Course participants will now have the chance to attend workshops and other programs organized by Europe Point in person. This addition will make the course even more valuable and practical.
The collaboration between Gordius Learning and Europe Point is an important step towards increasing awareness about the EU and promoting active EU citizenship in Hungary. Both organizations are committed to a successful partnership that will be beneficial for both parties.
