A group of four teachers from IES Francisco de Orellana visited Budapest between 18–23 May 2026 as part of their Erasmus+ mobility. Although this time the programme took place in a single host school, the week proved to be rich, varied and professionally meaningful thank to the work from Pannonhalmi Béla Baptista Általános Iskola és Gimnázium.

One of the strongest impressions for the visiting teachers was the school’s remarkably inclusive atmosphere. They were deeply moved by how naturally SNI students are integrated into everyday school life — not as separate participants, but as full members of the community.

Thanks to the school’s outstanding hospitality, the teachers even had the chance to try the school canteen, which they greatly appreciated.

The Sports Day offered a unique opportunity to experience the school’s community spirit firsthand, as the entire institution took part in the event.

Discovering Budapest

Beyond the professional programme, the group explored several of Budapest’s most iconic sights: – Buda Castle, – the Parliament, – a Danube boat tour, – and finally a relaxing afternoon at the Széchenyi Thermal Bath.

According to the participants, the mobility was professionally enriching, culturally inspiring and personally uplifting.
