SALTO Conference in Weimar
One of our colleagues participated in an international conference held in Weimar, Germany, between 7–9 May 2025. The European congress, titled "Living and Teaching European Values Today," welcomed around 200 participants from over 20 European countries. The aim of the event was to provide educators and education professionals with practical tools for integrating European values—particularly democracy, media literacy, historical awareness, and critical thinking—into their teaching practices.

Throughout the conference, numerous inspiring presentations and workshops were held, offering participants the opportunity to exchange experiences and initiate international collaborations. The programme featured best practices shared by teachers from various European schools, alongside interactive sessions led by experts to deepen understanding of democratic education methodologies.
The event took place in the city of Weimar, where participants also had the chance to enjoy cultural experiences, including musical programmes and historical walking tours.

Participation in the conference was made possible with the support of the Erasmus+ programme.
