Lithuanian VET Group in Budapest: Diverse Backgrounds, Rural Discoveries and a Week Full of Learning
Participants from Kupiškis Technology and Business School spent an enriching week in Hungary between 26 April and 2 May 2026 as part of their Erasmus+ mobility. The group was uniquely diverse — including a welder, a bartender, a special needs teacher and a language teacher — which made the programme especially dynamic and multifaceted.
To match this diversity, we selected host institutions with a broad professional portfolio, ensuring that each participant could find relevant and meaningful learning experiences.
A special thank‑you goes to the host schools for preparing such a rich and personalised programme during graduation week, one of the busiest periods of the school year.

The group stayed in Budapest, giving them the chance to explore the city’s atmosphere, public transport and cultural landmarks. At the same time, the host schools located in Szentendre and Zsámbék allowed them to experience the charm of Hungarian rural towns — a contrast they particularly appreciated.
Despite language barriers, the participants spent a highly meaningful and professionally valuable week in Hungary. Their openness, curiosity and active engagement played a key role in the success of the mobility.

Gordius Learning would like to thank the host institutions for their flexibility, hospitality and professional dedication, as well as the participants for their enthusiasm and cooperation.
We were delighted to welcome such a diverse group!
