Online seminar organised by the Tallinn (Estonia) national office
 
The Estonian National Office held an online seminar on the increasingly relevant Green Society Directive.

Under the European Commission's Green Deal, EU countries will pursue agreed climate, energy, transport and tax policies that will lead the continent towards an economy with 55% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than in 1999. Climate change and environmental degradation are an existential threat to Europe and the world. To meet these challenges, the European Green Deal will transform the EU into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy, and calls for the support of its countries. The Estonian National Office has taken this call as a starting point, highlighting the Let's Do It Foundation, which since its inception in 2014 has been present in 169 countries with EU-supported zero waste projects and has mobilised more than 36 million people in that time. Following their good practice example, the initial discussion of the online seminar started with a Q&A session.

The 14 people present came from 10 different countries, representing a wide range of institutions; from libraries, to vocational schools, to non-profit organisations.

Along the lines of the idea we discussed together, with the support of the Estonian National Agency, we moved in a direction where we can even talk about Erasmus+ projects on a small and large scale, and the creative power of the team became clear to us.

The team of Gordius Learning Zrt. will work to draw inspiration from the lessons learned to formulate innovative training and project directions for themselves, taking into account the common goals of Hungary and the EU.
