Between August 10 and 23, Lithuanian students participated in a professional internship program organized by Gordius in Budapest. The aim of the program was to enable participants to expand their knowledge and gain hands-on experience in their chosen field within a real working environment. The students worked at various companies and institutions in Budapest, where they had the opportunity to acquire new professional skills and deepen their existing knowledge.

During the internship, they improved key competencies such as problem-solving and communication skills, gained insight into the functioning of an international work environment, and collected valuable experience in teamwork, time management, as well as technical knowledge related to their professions. The program offered not only professional but also cultural enrichment, as the students became familiar with Hungarian workplace culture and everyday life in Budapest. A short weekend trip to Lake Balaton was also part of the program, allowing the participants to enjoy the “Hungarian sea.”
Overall, the internship contributed to the participants returning to their studies—and later entering the job market—with greater confidence and preparedness.
