Erasmus+ is an international program, highly funded by the European Union, which focuses mainly on institutions in the field of public and higher education. Participants in the various mobility activities can get first-hand experience of other nations' institutional structures, good practice, learning and teaching methods, as well as the history, culture and gastronomy of the destination country. Those returning from training abroad will share their experiences to help and encourage those who have not yet participated in international professional activities. In this way, the contacts made at home and abroad not only create lasting friendships, but also an intercultural professional network.
The ErasmusDays international program gives experienced and less experienced Erasmus candidates a chance to celebrate together, highlighting these achievements. The Gordius Learning Plc. team and the Central Hungary Agricultural Vocational Training Centre (KMASZC) will join this event full of experiences with a truly diverse, exciting and multi-element event. The two-day program aims to communicate the benefits of participating in Erasmus activities to as many students and staff as possible.
Join us from 14-15.10.2021, if:
- you would like to participate in a professional training abroad;
- you would like to learn more about the countries where Erasmus+ work placements take place;
- you would like to know more about the program, from the application to the last step of the implementation;
- you would like to be part of an international team.
What programs will be held?
The online session on the first day will provide both students and teachers useful information which is essential for successful mobility. Therefore, teachers and students will attend separate 45-minute presentations tailored to their individual needs. The first half of the lectures will be followed by two-way dialogues and will be rounded off with fun and games to test their newly acquired knowledge. In addition, a photo montage competition will be launched in mid-September for classmates in vocational training, the results of which will be announced at the end of the online session. Classes can enter the competition by submitting a joint photomontage to show what one of the Erasmus principles means to them:
- Environmental sustainability
- Digitalisation
- Social inclusion
On the following day, 15 October, from 9:00 to 16:00, we will meet you in person at the KMASZC courtyard (address: 1062 Budapest, street Andrássy 63-65.). On arrival at the venue, teams will be given a passport and a score booklet to collect points by completing Erasmus-related tasks at the 10 thematically set-up stations. In addition to the various puzzles - on sports, gastronomy, foreign languages and Erasmus principles - students and teachers will meet Erasmus alumni who will share their experiences and give valuable advice and suggestions. Therefore, these interesting activities, they will also have the opportunity to learn how to prepare their own Europass CVs and receive further guidance on what to pack in their suitcases before going abroad. At the end of the day, a prize draw will be held for the most skilful teams in the photo montage competition and prize packages.
If we raised your interest, don't hesitate any longer and join us for a really exciting "journey" through the world of Erasmus+ from 14 to 15 October!
