Three employees of Gordius Learning Ltd. participated in a one-week Erasmus+ job shadowing mobility program in Avezzano, Italy, where they gained a closer look at the day-to-day operations of organizing international mobility programs at our long-term partner, AMFI International.

During the professional program, they gained a comprehensive understanding of how a successful Erasmus+ mobility is structured, from initial partner consultations all the way through to the implementation and conclusion of the programs. They gained insight into organizational processes, participant coordination, the quality assurance system, as well as documentation and follow-up procedures.
One of the most valuable aspects of the mobility was gaining practical experience. They had the opportunity to accompany AMFI International staff to the internship sites of students in Hungarian and German vocational training programs, where they could observe the processes of monitoring visits and student evaluations. In addition, they gained insight into how programs for incoming groups are prepared, how training sessions are organized, how tasks are distributed among staff members, and what methods are used to ensure the high professional standards of the mobility programs.

The professional programs were complemented by cultural experiences. During the week, they had the opportunity to explore Avezzano and its surroundings; they visited Celano, Tagliacozzo, and Pescara, and before returning home, they also took a short sightseeing tour of Rome.

During the week, there was also an exchange of professional experiences, during which participants shared best practices used in the implementation of Erasmus+ projects and discussed opportunities for future collaboration.

This job-shadowing mobility not only provided us with new professional knowledge but also further strengthened the partnership between Gordius Learning Ltd. and AMFI International. We are grateful to our hosts for their openness, their warm welcome, and for giving us insight into their well-structured work processes. We look forward to continuing to work together in the future to provide high-quality international mobility opportunities for as many participants as possible.
