Our staff members participated in the EPALE AI workshop on 06 June 2024.

The presentation entitled Digitalisation and AI-based methodological solutions in support of adult education was hosted by the Kandó Kálmán Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Óbuda University.



At the workshop of the National Support Service of the NSZFH, the Hungarian coordinator of EPALE, a number of interesting presentations were given on digitalisation and artificial intelligence-based methodological solutions to support adult education. Speakers presented the latest research and practical applications that can help to reach learners more effectively and modernise education systems and methodologies.

Dr Zoltán Nagy spoke about early school leaving in vocational education and training. He highlighted that artificial intelligence and predictive analytics can help identify students who are at risk of dropping out. These tools allow early intervention, such as mentoring or personalised support.

Zoltán Zakota analysed the use of chatbots in education. Chatbots can automatically answer students' questions, helping teachers and reducing response time. They can also monitor students' progress and provide personalised advice to teachers.

Prof. Dr. György Molnár presented the opportunities for educational innovation in higher education. Digital technologies enable flexible learning pathways, adaptive teaching and personalised learning experiences. Online courses, virtual laboratories and distance learning are creating new opportunities for students.

Dr Tamás Molnár gave a presentation on writing good prompts for effective use of ChatGPT. Good prompts help Chatgpt to provide more accurate and relevant answers. It is important that prompts are clear, specific and well-written.

The workshop also covered digital learning technologies, new pedagogical methodologies, flexible learning paths, adaptive and personalised learning. The presentations provided our staff with many interesting ideas and inspiration on the subject.
